These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the VELA Global Group website, reports, member resources and services.
By accessing or purchasing VELA content or services, you agree to these Terms.
VELA CONTENT
VELA provides market research, trend direction, creative development and commercial insight for the home textiles industry.
Our reports and resources are developed to support creative exploration, product development and commercial thinking. They represent VELA’s editorial and market perspective at the time of publication and should be used together with your own creative and commercial judgement.
USE OF REPORTS & MEMBER RESOURCES
VELA reports and member resources are provided to support the purchasing company’s product development, design, sourcing, range planning and customer presentations.
Resources may be downloaded, printed and shared within the purchasing company. Members may also show reports during private customer meetings and include selected pages or extracts in customer presentations to discuss design direction and product development ideas.
VELA branding, source credits and copyright notices must remain visible. Content must not be presented as the member’s own original research or artwork.
Except for these permitted uses, complete reports and library files must not be distributed outside the purchasing company, published online, resold or repackaged without prior written permission from VELA Global Group.
These permissions apply to material that VELA owns or is authorised to license for these uses. Third-party material remains subject to the rights and permissions of its respective owners.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights in original reports, written content, graphics, artwork and other materials created by VELA Global Group remain with VELA unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Membership provides permission to use these resources as described above. It does not transfer ownership of VELA’s content.
Members may use VELA’s research and guidance to inform the development of their own original products and collections. This does not grant permission to copy third-party designs or reproduce artwork for commercial production unless expressly authorised by the relevant rights holder.
Ownership and usage rights for artwork and other deliverables commissioned through a custom project will be agreed separately in the project agreement.
IMAGE & CONTENT NOTICE
VELA reports and resources provide curated retail research, colour direction and practical design guidance for home textile manufacturers and suppliers. They support product development, range planning and customer discussions, helping members develop their own original products and collections.
Reports may be downloaded, printed, shared internally and used in private customer presentations in accordance with the Use of Reports & Member Resources section of VELA’s Terms & Conditions. Except for those permitted uses, reports and content must not be published, resold, repackaged or distributed outside the purchasing company without prior written permission from VELA Global Group.
Third-party imagery, photography, brands, products and designs remain the property of their respective owners. They are included as visual references for market commentary and design discussion. Their inclusion does not imply affiliation with or endorsement of VELA, or grant permission to copy, trace or reproduce the referenced designs for commercial production.
Any permission granted by VELA applies only to material it owns or is authorised to license for the stated use. Third-party material remains subject to the relevant owner’s rights and any applicable licence restrictions. VELA branding, source credits and copyright notices must be retained when content is used.
Intellectual property rights in VELA’s original reports, written analysis, graphics and artwork remain with VELA Global Group unless otherwise agreed in writing. Access to these resources does not transfer ownership. Rights relating to commissioned artwork and custom projects are agreed separately.
Colours may vary across screens, photography and printed materials. Pantone® references and other colour guidance should be checked against official physical colour standards before final development or production decisions.
VELA’s research and guidance do not guarantee sales, retailer acceptance, consumer demand or commercial success. Members remain responsible for their own development, sourcing, production and commercial decisions.
Nothing in this notice excludes or limits any rights, guarantees or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Brands, trademarks, photography, products and other third-party material referenced within VELA content remain the property of their respective owners.
Their inclusion does not imply affiliation with or endorsement of VELA Global Group.
COMMERCIAL DECISIONS
VELA reports and services provide research, insight and creative direction. They do not guarantee sales, retailer acceptance, consumer demand, market performance or commercial success.
Clients remain responsible for their own product development, sourcing, production and commercial decisions.
CUSTOM PROJECTS
Custom Projects are scoped individually.
Project requirements, deliverables, fees, timing and any specific intellectual property or usage arrangements will be agreed separately before work begins.
MEMBERSHIPS & SUBSCRIPTIONS
Membership pricing, billing frequency and inclusions are shown at the time of purchase.
Recurring memberships may be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation options provided at the time of purchase. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not ordinarily provide a refund for a billing period already commenced, except where required.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
